Quoted on Banners in Central Park!
Mary's Instagram quote from the spring about what Central Park meant to her during the pandemic was put on banners in Central Park. It was a big, thrilling surprise when Mary came across the banners while walking through the park one day. She has subsequently seen them just inside three different entrances to the park - 79th St. & 5th Avenue, 106th St. & 5th Avenue, and 96th St. & Central Park West. Look for them if you are at those entrances! |
Shared on Instagram by Central Park
"Cherry Tree Tunnel" was shared on Central Park's Instagram account along with this quote from Mary, "I don't go out often during this pandemic but for my occasional sanity walks, I head to the beauty of #MyCentralPark. The trees, the water, the flowers, the wildlife, and the bird songs all give me joy and peace so I can carry on inside for a little longer." |
Online Exhibition
"Golden Tree" is currently a part of "Hudson, So It Flows", a juried online exhibition of work inspired by the Hudson River. See the show here. |
